Jade Quality Care is Hiring a Direct Care Staff (ISS) Near Garland, TX
Duties:
- Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in their home or community settings.
- Assist with behavior management and implement strategies to promote positive behaviors.
- Provide personal care, including assistance with toileting, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
- Support individuals in participating in social activities and community integration.
- Drive individuals to outings and other activities as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals.
- Follow established systems and protocols for documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in direct support or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing quality care and support to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different situations.
Job Types: Full-time, PRN
Pay: Up to $13.00 per hour
